What a night over at the Hilton Manchester with our very own Ged King fighting for the Cheshire White Collar belt. Ged's always been a keen boxer as we all know so the ability to get in the ring and also raise money for the Skullfades Foundation was too good to be true.
Cometh the hour cometh the man, within the first minute Ged has his opponent caged and with a big right to the ribs and a KO it was over in 60 seconds, you could say gone in 60 seconds. However, Ged being the compassionate man, consoled his opponent and held his belt aloft, a true champion inside and outside the ring.
Thanks to all that came out to support and donated to the cause, a memorable night and small changes that are making a big difference right now.
Skullfades took to London to raise homelessness awareness and bring some pride back to some of the homeless men and women. Check out the images below of Ged in action right in the centre of London.
On 6th October Ged travelled to Paris to visit the refugee camps. He spent 5 days cutting hair of the less fortunate, Ged was approached my a young refugee who is a trained barber and cut hair with Ged for a full day.
We donated a full barber kit to this young man to allow him to start to make a living going forward. The old proverb rings true, give a man a fish and he'll eat for a day, teach him how to fish and he can eat forever. Check out some images from the day below.
Our Skullfades foundation team took the trip down to Calais during the migrant crisis they had over there. We decided that we could help by getting our team of barbers over there and restore some pride and laughs. Check out the pictures below of our weekend trip.
